There’s a U. S. tax credit for biomass stoves purchased in 2013!

Last January, legislation passed that reinstated a U. S. tax credit for purchasing qualified biomass stoves and/or heaters. Therefore, if you purchase a qualifying stove or fireplace before Dec. 31, 2013, you can get a 10% tax credit up to $300. And if you purchased a qualifying stove in 2012, it is eligible as well.

In addition to the cost of the appliance, you can also apply costs for professional installation toward the tax credit.

More than 20 Quadra-Fire® products qualify for the tax credit. They are backed by a limited lifetime warranty and there are many designs and styles to choose featuring the most advanced technologies available for heat and fuel efficiency.
